Except in situations where teaching cannot be effectively provided if physical distancing is maintained.

Face coverings

Everyone must wear a mask or face covering that covers their mouth, nose and chin while in indoor areas of the practice hall and/or dance floor. Dancers can take off their face covering temporarily to engage: in an athletic or fitness activity, to eat or drink, as necessary for health and safety purposes

For dancers, instructors and spectators
The Vychodna Slovak Dancers must implement passive screening signs at all entrances informing people to screen themselves for COVID-19 before entry.

Active screening is required in accordance with instructions by the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health. Team Snap COVID-19 health check and/or an entrance screening must be completed prior to entry into an indoor area.

Cleaning and disinfection
The Vychodna Slovak Dancers must ensure that equipment, washrooms, and change rooms are cleaned and disinfected as frequently as is necessary to maintain a sanitary condition.

Practice hall and dance floor

Restrictions: capacity must be limited to the number that can maintain a physical distancing of 2 metres from every other person.

Conditions: indoor capacity for the facility limited to 50%. Maximum capacity must be posted. Face coverings are required indoors except when engaged in an athletic or fitness activity.

If there are spectators, the indoor capacity for spectators is 50% of the usual seating capacity. Face coverings are required for indoor and outdoor spectators.

Vaccine Certificate

As of September 22, 2021, Ontarians will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide their proof of vaccination along with photo ID to access certain public settings and facilities. This approach focuses on higher-risk indoor public settings where face coverings cannot always be worn and includes. It is the understanding of The Vychodna Slovak Dancers that our practice hall and dance floor would be considered a higher-risk indoor public setting. Therefore we shall require a vaccine certificate for entry into an indoor setting and/or the practice hall and dance floor. This applies to all dancers, instructors, and spectators.

Individuals who cannot receive the vaccine due to medical exemptions will be permitted entry with a doctor’s note. Youth dancers who are under the age 18 and/or unable to be vaccinated will also be exempted from these requirements.
